#WisdomWednesdays Who you truly are is who you really need to be. No one else is you but you. Everyone shines in their own way. Being who you truly are and going after what you want is important but being who you truly are and not hiding, it is also extremely important as well.⁣

Something that has really been helping me as of late, is continually reminding myself to follow my efforts, and to just keep plugging away at the things that I am really good at and the things that make me happy. To remind myself that small accomplishments are still accomplishments, it is still progression, and it is still moving forward in a positive direction. Sometimes big changes take time, but every small accomplishment eventually adds up to something big. I think what has really helped me, especially in business, is not being afraid to try. Sometimes I would try things, and it would not go as planned, but I would just adapt, learn, and try it a different way until it worked. Thomas Edison conducted 1000 failed experiments, but the 1001st was the light bulb. It is important to never give up, to keep moving forward, to strive to be better. When you are having a hard time, make sure you have a good team around you to lend you a helping hand, to pick you up when you are down, and to calm you down when you’re stressed.⁣

Nelson Mandela says it the best “never settle for a life that is less than the one that you are capable of living”. Surround yourself with the best and shine as bright as possible.⁣

#WisdomWednesdays (15) - June 17 2020

#WisdomWednesdays There is an approach that I try to utilize on a day to day basis, and that approach is “look at your life as an addition”. I always ask myself, what can I do today to better myself, what can I do today to add to my skills and abilities, what can I do today to add to someone’s joy or happiness?⁣

I am a strong believer that our lives are a series of actions that we ourselves initiate or do not initiate and our thoughts, (good or bad) are going to control where we want to go. We all have the ability to think great or not. Sometimes it is definitely hard. When I am in a bad mood, upset, or something happens that bothers me, I always try to take it upon myself and think that I have the responsibility, the ability and full control to fit it. It would not be given to you if you could not handle it, and if you have the ability to handle it, you have the ability to find a solution. Utilize it as a learning experience and grow from it.⁣

Everyone has a gift and it is important not to keep it wrapped. That being said, if you do keep it wrapped, the people who need your talent, your message or encouragement will never be able to get it. Share your gift, think great things, and find positives in every situation.⁣

#WisdomWednesdays (14) - June 10th 2020

#WisdomWednesdays When we think about the biggest brands in the world, we know exactly what they represent or what they stand for. When I think about Nike, it is all about “just do it”, go for it, or when it comes to Adidas it is all about “impossible is nothing” and nothing is impossible. When I think about apple, their whole thing is “think differently”, to be innovative and different. When we think about the bigger brands, it is almost self-explanatory or automatic.⁣

When I created the positive inception brand, I wanted to create something that represented positivity, happiness and self-growth. For me I just wanted to create something to allow people to be more positive and to try and make the world a happier as well as a healthier place to live. I wanted to create something to allow people to feel comfortable in their own skin, to remind them to reach their full potential, to dream big, to work hard, and no matter what your limitations are, you can achieve anything, you just have to believe in yourself.⁣

What I am trying to get at with this post is as human beings, we are all our own “brand”. As individuals, we all have the ability to promote yourselves how we want to. We all have the ability to succeed in our own way. What we stand for, what we want to do, who we want to be, how we want to act, it is all up to us. We have a voice, and an opinion to share. Every day, each and everyone of us should just try to promote ourselves in the right light, continue to live our best lives and to try to create the best brand possible. To embrace our differences, to be unique, and to go for it in our own way.⁣

#WisdomWednesdays (13) -June 3rd 2020

#WisdomWednesdays : What has been really helping me in the last little while is reminding myself that my mind gravitates towards what it is familiar with, therefore, I try to think more positive thoughts, to think about where I want to go, what I want to do. It is crazy how the mind works. In my opinion, how we think is so powerful. You become what you envision yourself being. When you truly want something and you go after it, without limiting ourselves or making excuses; anything is possible. We just have believe in ourselves and work hard at it. For me, I sometimes deal with a little anxiety, and what really helps me, is remembering that action beats anxiety and hard work beats worry. Ever since I have applied that, it has helped me tremendously. No matter what the challenges are, as people we can always overcome them, and once we do, it makes us better people overall. A quote that I really like is “chase your dreams like your life depends on it, and you’ll always be a winner no matter what the result is”. Everyone is a winner in their own way.

#WisdomWednesdays: ⁣⁣
There is an equation that I try to utilize every day and that equation is working hard plus working smart always works. The moves that we make allow us to do more. In my experience, what I have learnt, is that opportunity is a lot like hard work. The harder we work, the more opportunities we get. Nothing happens unless you make it happen for yourself. For me, productivity, having a positive mindset and seeing hard work paying off, motivates me and encourages me to keep going in a positive direction, no matter what the circumstances are. For me, what really helps me is enjoying what I do, and enjoying the process of where I want to go. Yes, everyone will go through obstacles, but it is all part of it. Enjoy it, learn from it, because it will ultimately make you better overall. There is a quote that I really like and it is “don’t measure your progress using someone else’s ruler”. Just keep doing the best you can and make yourself happy. There is no reason why we can’t achieve or go after everything we have ever wanted.  Everyone is extraordinary in their own way. ⁣⁣

#WisdomWednesdays (11) - May 25th 2020

#WisdomWednesdays: I think it is important not to let fear or uncertainty take the joy out of life. This is what I have been telling myself over the last couple of months. There are a lot of things going on that are out of our control, for me, I just try to focus on the things in which I can control, and do what I can do to improve myself every day. We are constantly evolving, constantly changing. For me what really keeps me going, is telling myself that I can always do better and I can always get better, no matter what the situation is or what the circumstances are. When I do something, I try give it my all. I try to do my best. Not for other people, I try to do the best for me. When you do your best, you generate progress, momentum, productivity, and you learn. For me when that happens, it generates happiness because I am moving forward, helping others, and when you are ultimately happy, it allows the people around you to be happy as well. Just keep being a ray of sunshine.

#WisdomWednesdays (10) - May 13 2020

#WisdomWednesdays Just do your own thing. I think for me, it is just about working hard, being humble and just being myself. To Just try to be the best person I can be, to lead by example, and to be a good example. This allows me to attract the right people that I want to be around. The people who belong in your life will come, find you and stay.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Everyone goes through difficult times, for me, I try to use my past experiences or difficult times to inspire myself to become a better me overall, to learn and to grow. There is a quote that I really like and it is “life is not about perfection, it is about progression”, just keep moving forward in a positive way. When you think about it, you cannot hit home runs sitting in a dugout.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Everyone has purpose and everyone has the opportunity to be great, I truly truly believe that. I think the only impossibilities that exist are the ones that we create for ourselves. Everyone has their own journey, that’s what makes life so special.⁣⁣⁣

#WisdomWednesdays (9) - May 6th 2020

#WisdomWednesdays: People joke around with me all the time saying that I work too much, and I’ll be honest, I do have a bit of an issue with a so-called work life balance. For me, when I think about “work”, it does not feel like work, it is more like a passion. Yes, it is very stressful at times, things do not go right, things do not go as planned, but that is all part of it, it is part of the process. You cannot have the good without a little bit of the bad, you just have to roll with the pushes, think, find a solution and make the most out of every situation. To utilize every experience as a learning experience, to grow, to improve, to be better overall, as well as to elevate the people around you.⁣

One of my favourite quotes is: You haven’t come this far to come this far. This is probably one of my biggest motivators and a simple reminder that keeps me going in a positive direction. When ever I feel tired or something like that, for me this saying helps me keep the momentum going. When you think about it, everyone has worked so hard to get to where they are today. Everyone has overcome their own obstacles and challenges; everyone has their own story. I think it is important to be proud of your own story, to continue writing that story, and write the best story that you can possibly write.

#WisdomWednesdays (8) - April 29th 2020

#WisdomWednesdays (8) - April 29th 2020

#WisdomWednesdays: Developing yourself and investing in yourself is the best investment in which you can make. As human beings, we all want to be better. We all have the ability to better ourselves, to grow and to contribute. We want to do more, create more, share more, give more. For me, I always try to utilize this equation: “working hard, and working smart always works”. I think working hard, believing in yourself, working smart, doing things with the right intentions, it eventually leads to positive progress. It is important to remember that a little progress is still progress. In my experience, when I am productive, I feel more accomplished, more energized, and I am untimely happier.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
If you know what you want, and you make consistent progress, you will eventually get to where you want to go. Now more than ever, during difficult times, it is important to do things, to think about things that make you happy, that energies you, that excites you, things that you are passionate about. Work towards that or continue to plan towards that. When you think about it, if someone has already done what you want to do, you can achieve it as well. Or if someone has not done it, why can’t you be the first? Anything is possible. Why not Us? A quote that I think about all the time is “make your dreams a reality and your reality greater than you can ever imagine”. Do the best you can every day, a little progress does a long way. Do not reach a quota, reach your full potential.

#WisdomWednesdays (7) - April 22 2020

#WisdomWednesdays. Try to set the craziest goals: Yes, it is important to be realistic, but I strongly believe that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. For me, my disability was or is never a road block, yes, sometimes it makes things a little harder and it takes me more time to do things, but it is all part of the fun, it is all part of the experience. I just keep rolling with the pushes, utilize what I have, and do the best that I possibly can. The only person that knows what you are really capable of is you. Nobody sees what you see. It is important not to live for other people’s expectations. Live for your own expectations. Prove yourself right. Every day, give it everything you got, do not half fast things, because if you half fast things, you’ll end up getting half fast results. Just continue to move forward with a positive mindset.

#Wednesdaywisdom (6) - April 15th 2020

#Wednesdaywisdom: When I think about all of this, it is important to mention not to limit your ambitions or your potential based on the current situation. It is important not to let a negative situation bring you down. For me, I am trying to utilize this down time to think bigger. It is a great time for me to tape into my creative expression in regards to learning more, doing more and creating more. I also try to ask myself how can I contribute more in a positive way? Or how can I strengthen my relationships with others? What Can I do today to better myself personally, as well as how can I improve and grow the business for tomorrow.⁣

Even though this is considered a down time, treat it as an advantage. Learn new things that you were always interested in, stay focused, and strive towards your goals. I think everyone is designed for extraordinary things. I think it is up to all of us to decide what we want to do with our lives. I always tell myself if I want to do something, it is up to me. If I need to get something done, it all starts with me. Something that I try to remind myself every day is that my life comes down to the decisions that I choose to make. When you change your decisions, everything changes. You either win or you learn. That being said, both are important because both make you better overall. All in all, try to think bigger, make good, smart decisions and WIN THE DAY with a heart off of kindness.

Sometimes life is like a poker game. You have to play with the hand that you are dealt with. You have to make it work. Your hand is your hand, sometimes you just have to play it out and see where the cards land. Obviously, no one saw this whole pandemic coming. It is important not to fold, not to give up on what we were dealt with. We together as a group have to emerge from this, rise from this, learn from this and become better people than before this all started.⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
In times like these, it is important to adapt in a positive way. Maybe think about how you can take advantage of the situation? How can you better your craft? What can you improve on? What can you do today to better yourself for when this is all over? What can you do to give yourself the best opportunity to win? I think it is important to look at this not as a setback but as a comeback. How can you comeback from this even stronger? There is beauty in everything. See the light in the darkest times.⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
It is not an accident that you woke up today. There is a reason.  Be consistent with your positive thoughts and self-worth. Be ready to win, WIN THE DAY. Be a loving, solid human being!
